Terms of Service

1. Who we are, what this covers

These terms are an agreement between you and Tokenokio (“Tokenokio”, “we”) covering tokenok.io and its related apps and tools (the “Service”). Using the Service means you accept these terms. If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm you may accept for it.

2. What the Service does — and where your data lives

The Service analyses AI usage information — token counts, models, dates, projects, costs — that you choose to scan, sync or import. Scans run in your browser. Results are stored in your browser’s local storage, under your control, exportable and deletable by you at any time. We do not receive, store or process your prompts, AI outputs or files.

3. Your provider accounts stay yours

Your relationships with AI providers (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, OpenRouter and others) — including your accounts, billing, API keys, prompts, outputs and data — remain yours and are governed solely by your agreements with those providers. Tokenokio is independent: we never resell tokens, hold provider credits, or take custody of your provider payments. Reporting keys you paste are used transiently, in memory, for the single sync you request, and are never stored or logged by us. You are responsible for keeping your keys valid and appropriately scoped (read-only reporting keys are all the Service needs).

4. Numbers, estimates and decisions

We label every figure: provider-reported costs come from your provider’s own billing API; estimated costs price token counts at public list rates and may differ from what you actually pay (for example on subscription plans). Savings figures are conservative projections, not promises. The Service is decision support — financial, procurement and engineering decisions remain yours.

5. Beta, plans, billing and refunds

During beta, promo codes unlock the full Service for free. Paid options are: a one-time widget unlock, and subscriptions (Tokenokio Live, Pro, Power, Team). Payments are processed by Stripe — we don’t see or store your card details. By purchasing you also accept Stripe’s terms for the payment itself.

Subscriptions bill in advance on a recurring monthly cycle and renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel anytime — from your account or by emailing us — and your plan stays active until the end of the paid period; we don’t pro-rate partial months unless the law where you live requires it. We’ll tell you before any price change, and changes never apply retroactively to a period you’ve already paid for.

Refunds. One-time unlocks and the current subscription period are generally non-refundable once access is delivered, because the Service is a digital product made available immediately. Two important exceptions we honour fully: (1) consumers in the EU/UK have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal — note that by starting to use a digital product immediately you may be asked to acknowledge that this right ends once access begins; and (2) the Australian Consumer Law guarantees (and equivalent consumer protections elsewhere) always apply — if the Service is faulty, misdescribed or not fit for purpose, you’re entitled to a remedy including a refund. Beyond those, if something went wrong or you were charged in error, email support@tokenok.io and we’ll make it right — we’d rather have a happy user than a disputed dollar.

5a. Your Tokenokio licence (TKL)

A paid unlock or subscription grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the corresponding Tokenokio features for as long as your purchase or subscription is active. Your licence may be issued as a TKL licence code so you can activate the Service on your own devices.

• • The code is for you (or, for Team plans, your licensed seats). Please don’t publish, sell, sub-license or share it publicly.
• • One-time unlocks are tied to the purchase that created them; subscription licences stay valid while the subscription is current and stop when it ends or is cancelled.
• • We may revoke a licence that was obtained fraudulently, charged back, or shared in breach of these terms — we’ll aim to contact you first.
• • The Service and its licence codes remain our intellectual property; the licence grants use, not ownership.

6. Fair use

Please use the Service lawfully and only with usage data and keys you are entitled to use. Don’t attempt to disrupt the Service, probe it for vulnerabilities outside responsible disclosure, or misrepresent Tokenokio results as a provider’s official billing statement.

7. Our IP and yours

The Service — including our analysis methods, scoring, indexes and interfaces — belongs to Tokenokio. Your usage data belongs to you. Anonymised, aggregated statistics that cannot identify you or your business may be used to improve the Service and publish industry insight (free-tier data contribution is described in the Privacy Policy).

8. Warranties and liability

The Service is provided “as is” during beta. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions made on the basis of estimates. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or AUD $100 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including the Australian Consumer Law, EU and UK consumer protections.

9. Changes, ending, and the boring-but-important bits

We may update these terms as the Service grows; material changes will be announced on the site and become effective on posting for future use. You can stop using the Service anytime — Track page → Clear data removes everything, because everything was yours to begin with. These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without limiting mandatory protections you enjoy where you live. If any clause is unenforceable, the rest stand.
